Furnace Maintenance
Furnace maintenance, also called "furnace tune ups", "furnace cleanings", and "servicing the furnace", should be scheduled annually. These can be done at any time of the year, but it is best to have furnaces cleaned in the fall before any heavy use in the winter. Furnace maintenance services improve performance, efficiency, and reliability. Furnaces that receive regular maintenance are also expected to last 8-12+ years longer.
