Backflow Preventer Services
Backflow Preventers are used on public water systems to avoid contamination of the public water supply. This prevents E-Coli outbreaks, bacteria, viruses, and stray minerals from entering the public water system and contaminating any other private plumbing systems.

All commercial buildings should have a backflow preventer, and they must be tested and certified regularly in accordance with local policies. Most municipalities in Ohio require annual testing.

When a backflow preventer fails, they will need to be brought back into compliance through repairs or replacements. Greene's is certified in the state of Ohio to offer backflow testing, repairs, and replacements. Certain areas require local registration in addition to the state certifications. We are always locally registered with Tiffin, Ohio, but other areas may vary depending on demand.
